With the passage of time robot vacuums are improving, there’s no need to spend hundreds of dollars on high-end models for comfortable cleaning.
Today a robot vacuum under $250 can get the same job done that a $1000 worth vacuum does.
I am excited to tell you that that robot vacuum is none other than the Eufy Robovac 11.
In this Eufy Robovac 11 review, I am going to explain every feature this vacuum offers and why a large number of homeowners have adopted this budget vacuum.
Though the vacuum is not loaded with the most advanced features in this price range, it does the job quite well.
Let’s get started…

Let’s review the features, performance, design, pros and cons.
Design of Eufy Robovac 11
The Eufy is a circular vacuum with 13 inches diameter and 3 inches taller, making it wider and flatter than other bots. This low-profile design allows the vacuum to clean low-clearance furniture like couches, coffee tables, and TV stands.
It looks simple yet elegant and the body is dark charcoal in color, having one square Auto button at the top with a company logo in silver color at the bottom edge. The top is designed with tempered glass, giving the machine a smooth feel and doesn’t increase the weight to a total of 5.8-pound weight.
There’s a largely removable dustbin located at the back, with the charging sockets and power switch available on the right. At the front is a bumper, which contains about 11 infrared sensors. At the bottom, there’s a drop sensor, swivel wheel, contact charging pins, roller brush and two tank treads.
A charging dock also comes in the package with a remote control having a pair of AAA batteries inside. There are two spare filters a HEPA and foam, a cleaning tool, and two spare side brushes. You also get a handy chart for troubleshooting, if anything goes wrong.
Setup and Remote Control
The Eufy is easy to set up, as there’s no Wi-Fi or app with the vacuum. After removing the protective film on the bot’s bumper and the charging dock, you simply snap on the two side brushes.
You need to place the dock flush against a wall where the surface is level, having nothing on the front or at the sides. As soon as you turn the power on the vacuum will start charging.
When the bot is fully charged, you just need to press the Auto button to get the bot started, or take some time to futz around with the remote control.
The remote control is simple, contains a standard directional pad and a play/pause button located at the center.
Above that, there’s a display with the time, and below that, an Auto button and Return-to-dock button.
At the bottom there are six buttons: for schedule cleaning, set the time, toggle spot cleaning, Single Room, Max, and Edge modes.
If you have shag carpet then you can choose your best vacuum for shag carpet and if you have hard floors then you can choose best vacuum for hardwood floors.
Performance
When it comes to cleaning Eufy does an exceptional job. It sucks up dirt like those high-end expensive models. If compared with Dyson 360 Eye, Eufy provides a comparable level of clean. Though the Dyson is strong and more powerful (and very noisy), but Eufy can still pick up several dustbins of hairs, dust, and tons of stray food bits left by dogs.
As it’s a low-profile vacuum getting under the coffee table, TV stand, and the bed is easy for Eufy. Even the pricier models like Dyson 360 Eye and Bobsweep Boni cannot get under low-clearance furniture. However, Eufy robot vacuum can even creep under cabinets, avoids tangles power cables, and performs wonders on any pilly studio rug.
Keep in mind that the infrared sensors do not work on dark, grey flooring or high-pile carpets. You can try but don’t attempt on a shag carpet.
In Auto mode, the bot essentially ping-pong back and forth randomly. It’s not an issue for long sessions-it will eventually get to every corner. It cannot remember the path it cleaned already but the price justifies it.
Unlike the 360 Eye, Eufy lacks computer vision or map-building sensors like Roomba 980, but it can still avoid obstacles and navigate it’s way out of congested situations when stuck.
Feeing itself can take some time, In case you don’t meticulously prepare your space before starting the cleaning. It won’t take a while but you will get an advantage to rescue manually and to maximize the battery life.
Another solution is using a directional pad and steer it to find a suitable path. You can move the bot to specific areas, then activate Spot cleaning to deal with the specific mess. Ultimately, both Edge and Spot cleaning modes are perfect, circular robots cannot perform better at a corner, and the RoboVac 11 is no exception. So you can get your hand vacs out for corners or do a quick pre-sweet to get the dirt away from the corners.
Here’s the best part, Eufy is whisper-quiet. Where pricier models are noisy, this budget model beats them and you won’t even feel its presence while it’s cleaning around.
You can only hear it when you are in the same room or close to the bot. When you are away in the kitchen or bedroom while the bot is in the other room, you won’t even know the bot is there.
It remains almost quiet even on Max mode, you do not have to increase the TV volume while the bot is around.
With a single charge, the Eufy can clean continuously for 100 minutes. With a single charge, you can easily clean the living room, kitchen, and few bedrooms.
Unlike the Deebot Slim (similar price to Eufy) the Eufy can move between rooms without any trouble. However, larges spaces won’t be covered in a single charge. But it still delivers the performance like expensive models.
Similarly, returning to the dock station is easy. It can automatically move back to it’s charging base while runs low on battery. However, it takes about six hours to fully charge. Therefore, don’t plan more than one or two cleaning sessions in a day.
Dust Buster, Not Dollars
It’s not the most souped-up machine on the market, but at this price range, it’s excellent. Though it lacks some fancier features like in pricier models, if you are looking for a reliable way to keep your floors clean with minimal effort, Eufy won’t disappoint you. Else you can get the Roomba 690 or Roomba 960 with Wi-Fi control from your phone, notifications, Amazon Alexa compatibility, advanced navigations but double or triple the price.
Overall, Eufy Robovac is an amazing robotic vacuum that comes with all bells and whistles without breaking your bank.
- Affordable price
- Quiet performance
- Remote for easy control
- Large dustbin
- Ideal for low-profile furniture
- Comes with spare parts
- Takes longer to charge
- Round shape not ideal for cleaning corners.
